Narrative Experience writing
With too much clutter in my life wrapping me up so much I couldn't breathe, today I decided to relax as a traveler on Abbot Kinney Avenue. As the wind blew through, a gust of wind chimes rang out. My ears were first drawn to it and my curiosity made me start looking for the source of the sound. My eyes were stopped by a building with Japanese style after crossing the Rainbow Bridge. On closer inspection, there were several strings of wind chimes hanging from the eaves of the building, which must be the source of the sound. My eyes were drawn to another object in front of the building. It was an old mailbox! It seemed to be trying to take my memories to where it was going. Another gust of wind blew by, the wind chimes rang again, and it was as if I had traveled through a bamboo forest, walking down a stone path with a small wooden hut waiting for me ahead.
Urged by the wind chime, I walked into the store. Upon entering, the first thing that struck my memory was the smell, giving me the illusion that I had suddenly walked into a store of handicrafts in the mountain forest, and my thoughts seemed to be led by the store. I walked according to the signs and came to a corner with maple leaves hanging all over it.
There was a record player with a sense of age playing music that made me want to slow down and think. There were people lying down, sitting, squatting, in all kinds of positions.
But they were all doing the same thing, writing on the maple leaves and reading the words on the leaves. I tried to blend in with them and found the maple leaves filled with stories written by others who had visited the store. I understood that this was a small community where we could share stories and even talk about life in the seating area next to us.
I also left stories that stuck with me and saw stories that stuck with me.
Gathering myself, I continued to follow the signs and I wandered into the product sales area, which was about stationery products. I was excited by the materials used in these stationeries. Leather and brass are both very durable materials, and they will grow over the years. I think I will use the leather notebook to record my experiences when I travel, and this notebook will grow with me.
Further on, there is the product customization area. I can make my own notebook here. I've never seen a brand that leaves room for customers to design. I felt that the brand wanted the customers to express themselves. Through the products, they want to convey is a free spirit. A free character, a free lifestyle, a free design.
Walking out of this store, I was much more relaxed and no longer confused.
